Costumes

Costumes are appearance only outfits that overlay armor. Starting with 2.5, ESO+ subscribers can dye costumes.

Hats can be used in conjunctions with other costume items or alone.

Polymorphs consist of both a skin and costume and often have only one look for both male and female characters.

Skins change the look of your character and can be used underneath costumes or armor.
