Even when I like them, I never purchase properties this size. I prefer the smaller cozier homes. When this property landed in my lap I wasn’t sure I was up to the challenge. Challenge 1: the furniture limit. Seriously?? 700 pieces barely scratches the surface. Challenge 2: the furniture limit. 700 pieces is still very expensive in gold & crown & crafting material/writs. Challenge 3: what direction to take it that would not detract from the beauty of it’s architecture and it’s peaceful ambiance. Something grand but still warm and home like. It was a bit of a conundrum. So, I invented the “Sisters of Fire & Light”. Fire for skill and courage in battle. Light for learning and wisdom in life. A small sisterhood, within the larger Psijic Order, whose island home had been swept up with the rest of Artaeum. In addition to supporting Psijic interests at home and abroad, the sisters are also vintners. The special grapes grown on the island combined with the sister’s unique processing methods produces a wine that is much admired in Artaeum. Those few bottles that have found their way outside Artaeum are highly prized not only for their elegant flavor but also because of their extreme rarity and the mystery surrounding their origins.
