I am dying to know the inspiration behind this bird! I want to say variations of woodpeckers, but if there is a bird of prey that looks like this guy…I want to know.
Although it has a beak like a bird of prey, the coloration is most like either the Yellow-billed Cardinal or Red-crested Cardinal.
