Ezio was just a teenager when his life changed.
Living in Florence as a nobleman of the Auditore family, Ezio spent his days with his family, jumping off rooftops with his older brother and courting young women.
One day, however, young Ezio returned home to the ransacked family villa.
After trying to prevent the execution of his father and brothers, Ezio watched in horror as his family was hanged from the gallows by the Templars.This was the beginning of Ezio's quest for vengeance in Assassin's Creed and the rite of passage to the Assassin's Brotherhood.
