"The Senchal Cats" is a clan of various orphans who survived The Knahaten Flu and the Scorch of Senchal. Aurinko and his brother Murhaaja Keiju hail from the Summerset Isles but their family settled in Senchal after the Flu started to spread. The Keiju parents were formidable medics and couldn't stand to watch the lower classes of Senchal suffer. It was a place, dear to them. But they perished with no one to take care of their sons.
Makea, the older brother of the trio started searching for his lost family and still hopes to find them to this day. Meanwhile, the two younger brothers started unveiling the truths of the harsh reality they were thrown into by their parents' good intentions. The protection by the city's rulers vanished with the last breath of the brothers' father. They were thrown into the streets where their parents cared for the likes of them.
Throughout the years Aurinko researched and observed the decay and death, he was mesmerized by the process of dying and decaying. His interests mixed very well with the magic he learned from the city's scum – the necromancers, hiding among the lower classes. He grew up to be a necromancer himself nonetheless.
